“Let’s face it, life is tough and at times it’s hard to relate to people around you. Our society has taught us that experiencing emotions and certain human behaviors is not acceptable in public. The problem is this is how we relate and the emotions that it creates inside of us is part of who we are.”

“When I talk about topics, understand that they come from the heart as well as my education. I have felt the effects of rape, depression, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, mental disorders, and emotional abuse.”

“It’s my hope that my life experiences, research, and education will benefit readers around the world. We all have lessons to learn and hopefully I can help make the journey a little easier.”

In my case, when I was growing up, it wasn’t acceptable to display emotions at home either.

    Take care.

    Roxie,
I’m so sorry to hear that. I was the child that didn’t have the parent to express my emotions to. Single parent and latch-key kid.
