How to stop fear in your life and relationships
Earlier I wrote about what the bible says about fear in your life and relationships. Now I want to give you some tips on how you can stop fear in your life and relationships. Everyone deserves a full life and I don’t want you to spend another day letting fear control you. Every millisecond of the day is a moment in time where you can start changing your life.
What is the fear in your life? How can you stop fear in your life and relationship? Fear is simply the mind on overdrive feeding on negative thoughts. Fear is a misuse of the imagination. What happens when a person fears something? The imagination is thinking about a negative end result. For example someone who fears spiders will freak out by a spider. Their mind is telling them that they are going to get bitten, the bite is going to be painful, and they might even die from the bite.
The reality of this fear is that most spiders are not even poisonous to humans and just want to be left alone. I’m not picking on people who have a fear of spiders. I personally can’t stand them because I was bitten by one and now have a healed over scar on my leg from it’s bite.
So how can you stop fear in your life and relationships? You can change your way of thinking, educate yourself, and remind yourself.
Remind yourself to stop fear
Many people use mantras or symbols to stop being fearful. These are short saying or items that allow people to recognize that they are being fearful of something and then quickly change their thinking. I have seen several forms of mantras or symbols. For example a wiccan might use the word “Abeo”. Abeo means vanish hence you want the fear to vanish. Someone might use a bible scripture. While another person might rub their temples.
Educate yourself
Lets take the fear of spiders as an example. People do not have to live with fear in their relationships and life. Find out what spiders are native to your area. Find out which spiders are harmful to humans, remember what they look like, and then find out what to do if a bite does happen.
Stop fear by changing the way you think
Instead of allowing your mind to imagine the negativity, focus on the positive outcomes instead. There are always going to be things that you cannot control. You may lose your job but this job lost could lead to a new business or even a new career. Plus we can always turn negative events around and learn from them.
